Large old Mexican Flower Pot

bluey48April 9, 2014

This has been outside for years but needs to be repainted this Spring to brighten it back up since the original paint is very pale. I am sure any glaze has been weathered off, too, so it is probably pretty porous. How should I prepare it and paint it? Thanks for any help.
