wooden salad bowls

karasueJanuary 28, 2002

Hi. I truly enjoy reading these forums and posting when I know something that might help. I have been searching for quite some time for wooden salad bowls that I want to paint. I am having problems finding thses. I have looked at Ebay but way to expensive after shipping around $25 and up for bowls to just paint crazy colors. Anyone have any ideas where to find some?? I have looked around town and haven't found any in our local "junk/treasure shops". Thanks for any ideas.

Wish you were here-just saw an entire set at our local thrift shop last week-they had stainless steel bases and the entire set of serving bowl & 5 indiv.bowls for less than $5. Keep checking those second hand stores-you never know what treasures you might find..the secret is to go back often.
