need tips of sewing flannel backed satin

Hi All, I wonder if anyone has some words of wisdom for sewing flannel backed satin. I am about to make a robe out of this stuff and I don't want to "learn the hard way", ( screw it up ). Any suggestions? Thanks, Carol

If you have a walking foot it works great on any type of slippery fabric. A 4 thread serger will do a great job as well. You need a good strong seam as this stuff likes to frey. Great project - Christmas gift? I know you will do a great job and it will turn out beautiful.
