Not much space but they make it work.

You didn't feel that space was a little cold? It truly felt cave like. The cave must be in a fantastic location close to everything! It's doable if you don't eat at home very often or need a ton of prep space. The daybed was ingenious. Everything else just feels meh. I was hoping for more ingenious takeaways on storage or convertible spaces.
I was surprised by the decision to keep everything in the kitchen below the counter. If they had built up there would have been room for a much larger fridge/freezer combo and a much more functional kitchen, in my opinion.
It would depress me to live in a home with very little natural light and no view. Also, that undercounter fridge that has to be defrosted would be a no go--too small and you have to almost stand on your head to see what's in there. I agree with above posters that the storage should have gone up the wall and that there is very little to take away from this one.
"Barcelona's Gothic Quarter" .... ancient buildings. If you want to live there you take whatever you can find and make the most of it.
I liked the fact that the bedroom had a real bed and a normal height ceiling. Usually, in really small places, you see a loft bed with little headroom and the mattress is just plopped on the floor. Leaving me wondering how you make the bed or change the sheets without knocking yourself unconscious.
The kitchen area I like. What bothers me is the lack of storage in the bathroom and bedroom. Where do you put your make up and hair stuff? So little hanging space for clothes.
Renting Spaces in Barcelona is a bit pricey. The place is good for couples and i like the architecture such as the bricks on the roof. I just wonder where they store their clothes.
