Another candle question

msalex28aSeptember 25, 2008

I made a jar container and it burned perfectly smothh all the way down. I tried to do the same thing with a tin but it tunneled right down. What am I doing wrong? I'm using soy wax.

Were you using the same type of wick for each? And were they the same depth and diameter? Every wick is not suited to every container.

Yes the same type of wick and diameter but not depth. I did it under the wick guide at candle science
