what kind of thread do I use for sewing swimsuits?

I did a search on this site and got some good information on how to sew on swimsuit fabrics. I did not see anything on what "kind" of thread to use. Can someone tell me? Thanks.

I just used a cotton poly when i made my GD's.More important is the stitch you use on the machine.Use a stretch stitch,so that your stitching doesn't pop when being worn.

My daughter made a swimming suit for 4H and she used wooly nylon, but she was using the serger. If you are using a sewing machine use the 3 step zigzag with the wooly, lower the needle tension and a hand wound bobbin with wooly.
