Does any of you missys out there know to make these window treatments?
If you pick up the Singer Window Treatments book at Joann's, it gives excellent instructions.
Have you done a Google search on instructions?
Hello, dian57 is right--the Singer Window treatments book is good. They really aren't too hard--I am making new ones for my living room right now. I do make a "trial" one so that I know how much trim to order and to make sure that they will fit properly. The most important thing is to have a machine that can sew thru many thicknesses, because when you are making these, all the pleats add up to a lot of material. Also, DO NOT use cheap thread--the new machines hate it. If you are lining with a contrasting color, make sure you like the look at the window. The sun shining thru the colors may not be the color you like. I did this about 12 years ago, and have hated some jabots I made ever since. These are the ones I am replacing now. Good luck with your project, and I will probably be asking questions soon as I start my own!
