Floor vent cover - what finish?

williamsemMay 13, 2013

It dawned on me I need to get floor vent covers. But what should they match? I didn't see any that will match my cork.

White to match the trim?
Brushed nickel to match the hardware?
Black to kinda blend with the floor and cabinets?

Seems like blending with the floor would be ideal, but that's not going to happen. What did you do? Suggestions?

I would go with a wood vent cover, stained a little darker than the floor (since getting an exact match would be impossible).

I was also going to suggest wood. They are readily available.
