Brother SE 350 or HE 240?

caflowerluverJuly 8, 2009

I have seen these on the different shopping channels. Anyone have one? Pros and cons? Which one is better for small embroidery projects?

I am thinking of selling items on Etsy. Some people I know have done OK selling homemade items there. I have been doing hand embroidered items for over 40 years as gifts. I have always wanted machine that could do that. I would not be competing with professionals and their commercial machines. In my previous post, everyone pointed out what a waste of time and money that would be. And I agree.

I looked at the Brother website. They have info on the SE 350, but all I could find out about the HE 240 is that it does exist.

I have not seen or used either of these machines.

I am wondering if the 4 inch square embroidery field will meet your needs?
