Sewed Pinch Pleats

lauriewoodJune 12, 2012

I sewed my own pinch pleats! So excited. They turned out great, and it wasn't hard (I haven't sewn anything in 15 years). This girl wrote an amazingly detailed tutorial that I used if anyone wants to tackle it.

Your drapery looks beautiful! You did a great job.
I also like how the fabric color matches the wall color so well.

Thank you for this link. It has well written detail and the pictures are clear.

I made pinch pleat drapery for a large sliding glass door several years ago. I had a book that I used at the time. I remember thinking this is a lot of work!!

If I ever attempt to do pinch pleats again, I have bookmarked this site you gave above.

Thanks for sharing and you should be proud of a job well done.
