Rubber strip is peeling off the back door

alisandeOctober 3, 2008

My outside doors are five years old. Like most exterior doors, I suppose, they have three rubber strips hanging down from the bottom, each about a half-inch wide. One of these is peeling off the back door. It's about half gone. I guess I could stop further damage by cutting the peeled part off. But is there any way to repair/replace this?

You might be able to find replacements at the mfgs website. I know they make an entire replacement sweep that fits over the bottom of the door. HD and Lowes sells them.
