How to cut silestone

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this question -- we have a silestone countertop in the kitchen. I want to replace my cooktop and the cutout needs to be 1/4" larger for the new one! Any idea how to cut this material?

I would contact a silestone installer. They will probably use a good size router with a straight bit to enlarge the hole.
