Drop ceiling

ramseyOctober 3, 2012

We are looking to install a drop ceiling in the basement of a townhouse. The issue we are having is the basement has fire sprinklers that would be covered by the drop ceiling. Of course the condo association will not allow this.

One option is to drop the sprinkler heads, but this add significant cost to the project. We have looked placing some roof tile that melt in heat where the head sre but this was not approved by the condo board

Any ideas on how we can have the the drop ceiling without moving the sprinkler heads

Can you raise the height of the drop ceiling? If not you will really have no choice but to lower the sprinkler heads.
