Murphy's Law

Wouldn't you know it. Joann's JUST had the $1.99 pattern sale and I smugly walked past the pattern cabinets thinking, I don't need any patterns.

Sure. Here comes Easter with Mother's Day following close behind and do you think I can find a dress I like? And another thing--when did dresses start costing upwards of $75?

I refuse to pay $9.50 for McCalls 4016, the best I can do on ebay is $8.50.

Anyone know how often the patterns go on sale at Joann's or have any other suggestions?

I guess the price of $75 came up when bread went to $2 LOL, below is a link to McCalls co. they have free shipping on patterns I think, plus sometimes a discount of price, check it out Rene

Here is a link that might be useful: McCalls web site

Somedays I wonder if I live under a rock. Is no one else surprised by the cost of dresses? Thanks for the link, Rene, I'll check it out.

Dian, doesn't WalMart sell them for 1/2 price? That's a little better. I looked at the pattern on their website and I don't think I have that exact one or I'd give it to you!
