ceiling mount curtain track - which curtain pins?

jallyAugust 25, 2011

Hi, I'd appreciate if someone with experience with basic curtain tracks can advise. First this demo:

My track is like this EXCEPT it's a .25" slit rather than .28"

I'm in an old house & just installed a 5000 BTU air conditioner, and making an attempt at a curtain to contain the cool air inside kitchen.

Problem:

There's only the track (there's no pins inside the track

Can someone please advise:

Which of the RECMAR (or non-recmar) curtain pins would:

* compatibly fit inside my 1/4 inch slit, and also

* easiest for me to fasten to a curtain (which I did not sew yet, since I first need to know how high it should be).

* also I prefer to avoid sticky stuff such as sticky-velcro or tacky dough

* also, the closer it "hugs" the rod, i assume, the less cool air would escape...

...so please take that into account when responding.

Hoping someone can help. Thanks!

RECMAR might be the best ones to answer this.

But does anyone here have an idea of what type of pins might work best in a basic track such as the above?

A pic would be appreciated.
