A Follow- up: What is the Best Vapor Barrier to USE?

chipster_2007August 25, 2011

As a follow up to a previous question...what is the best kind of vapor barrier to use for joists that are 16" apart. The barrier would have to be cut. I assume, to fit these areas. What is presently down there is old fiberglass battings with a paper faced barrier. Thanks

What kind of climate are you in? This is for over a crawl space? Do you need to air seal as well?
