Linen source

teresa_nc7January 23, 2008

Eventually spring will come and after spring comes summer. Here in the south we have H-H-H days: hazy, hot, and humid and we have them day after day after day.....

I really like to wear linen and linen blends during the spring and summer. It breathes well and wicks moisture away from the body. Today I found a web site that looks promising for linen fabric by the yard for dresses, tops, and pants. I also like to use linen for placemats, napkins, and my redwork embroidery projects.

You can ask for free swatches to be sent to you before you order!

Here is a link that might be useful: Fabric-Store for linen

Thanks Teresa for the tip. I live about 30 minutes from this store and love linen. Sometimes at our swap meets, as well as the LA garment district, they have linen leftover from the garment industry for just a dollar a yard. I'll check out this store. Thanks, Linda
