jippyJanuary 21, 2003

Our son is doing his science fair project on DNA. He wants to make a model of the double helix DNA for his display. CAn anyone out there help us? Or maybe have some sources of info. where we could buy one? Many thanks!

Several years ago we helped my son make a model of DNA using pipe cleaners and styrofoam balls. Now I've noticed that they sell DNA kits at Michael's and the Rag Shop. I don't know if that will be acceptable for the science fair though- the teachers might think it's not creative enough, especially when several children show up with the exact same thing!
