removing glue from outdoor carpet

930-JeanMay 15, 2014

Help We purchased an older home and want to remove the glue left from outdoor carpeting on concrete steps and landing on carport, also on front porch. We would like to be able to paint with Lowe's Restore10X. It is supposed to be 10 times thicker than regular paint. Would appreciate anyone else who has had experience with removing old dried glue from steps and porch.

Best advice is find someone who has the proper tools to resurface / grind concrete. Don't put any solvent on the old glue - it will just make more of a mess.
