Tip to Share

I just learned of this now.

If you want to highlight all of something to copy, etc.

Place your cursor close to the left of where you want to begin and click once (nothing happens).

Then go down to the right of the end of it, hold down the Shift key and click once. This will highlight all from where you started.

Be careful and check to see that above the start point didn't turn blue. That happened to me a couple of times thinking I wasn't close enough to my first point??

Hope it works for you and you find it useful.

Not sure why but I find it easier to click on one thing and then click ctrl and the letter A. That hi-lites all of them too. I love all these little tips.

If you double click on a single word the word will highlight. If you continue clicking on a single word (in a sentence or in paragraph) it will highlight the whole sentence or the whole paragraph.

Judy,
Mine is to highlight just the one section of what you want.
I did know of the Ctrl A for the whole works if you misunderstood me.
