I saw this coffee table at good will today. Is there a way to tell if it is a la barge?

What the heck is a "large barge"?
I think the poster means La Barge (the company that makes mirrors and coffee tables). If you own a coffee table from this company, do they have a marker on the brass ? Pretty table!
I think it is a LaBarge. The hooved feet look right. The brass should not be magnetic.
Ooohhhh, that's pretty!
Lol I definatly ment La Barge. That is the fun with auto correct. ..I hate typing on my phone. I will check for a mark will it say LaBarge or something else. I will also bring a magnet. It is marked at $125... good deal?
I think all authentic LaBarge items have the name somewhere on the item. You may also be able to find a Made in Italy stamp on one of the feet.
Okay, hopefully they won't mind my flipping it over in the very crowded store. :) The glass seemed pretty thick and heavy too. I will look for made in Italy or La Barge on it somewhere.
Take a mirror with you!
Brilliant tomatofreak, I will do that!
kam76 that's one of the best auto corrects ever - will probably become an 'endearment around here - La Barge will now be large barge in my mind forever more!
From the subject line I was expecting an enormous coffee table or ottoman ;-)
LOL! I can't stop giggling over "large barge!" Classic!
Me, too! I just couldn't imagine what the post was going to be about. But it was even funnier than what I COULD have imagined because of the auto correct aspect. It will always now be Large Barge to me, too. It's quite lyrical.
I had to open this just to see what it was all about. Living on a river with constant barge traffic and all that....
