How to save rotting door threshold.

jamshedMarch 2, 2014

I have French doors in the family room leading out to the deck.

The doors are installed on a wooden (looks like oak) threshold. The threshold is starting to rot (dry rot?). Obviously, removing/replacing them would be almost impossible.

Does anyone have suggestions on what to use to preserve, fill, treat, and finish it with?
