Repurposing palm shaped ceiling fan blades

faulknermomJune 24, 2012

My favorite ceiling fan died. I don't want to throw out the blades. They won't work on other fans (I've tried). They are shaped more like banana leaves rather than palms and they are a heavy molded plastic. Any ideas?

How fun! Can you remove the hardware, patch the holes and paint them a color that matches your decor, then use them to hold candles or tealights?
