honed italian limestone floors for foyer, hallway and kitchen?

research_queenSeptember 15, 2010

i am considering using this tile in a 24"x24" in "ivory rustic." I will likely use it in the powder room and laundry room as well. any feedback regarding maintenance and durability? i have 3 young children (all very active boys) and a busy house. i want to use a a beautiful yet practical material. any input would be appreciated.

The most important consideration with installing any Stone is the subflooring - and experienced tile person

GW has a resident tile guru - Bill Vincent, along with other remodeling/contractor types - you can do a post on bathroom flooring "calling Bill V or Mongo" - I'm sure you'll get a good result.

Good luck
