Does anyone have the halo for fmq? If so, do you like it? Thanks.
I have considered buying this for a while. I'm interested to see what our FMQ'ers post!
I wasn't sure what that was, so I looked it up. Pretty neat tool! I'll be interested in other feedback.
I don't have that exact one,but do have something very similar.Never have mastered it,in fact i think it's down here in my for sale bin.
My GF tells me i need to drink wine when i quilt so i'm not so tense~~~~~~I don't like wine,or any other alcoholic drinks.
Kathi, maybe you can consider the wine as a medicinal, just to help you with the quilting!
Yeah, that's what my friend said as well.I tend to tense up too much when doing FMQ,so by the time i'm done for the day my shoulders and back kill me.
I have the halo, and it is good if you are following a specific design in a small area. The greatest aids to FMQ, in my opinion, are the Supreme Slider and quilting gloves (Machingers Gloves--less than $6). I got both items (as well as the halo) at jhittlesewing.com (wholesale supplies). Their prices are good and the service is great.
