rhubarb slush

I have been looking for an non-alcohol rhubarb slush recipe Does anyone have a tried and true one. I got one but it had no sugar -just water and jello and rhubarb-freeze and add 7-up. Sounds good but no sugar?

Jello and 7-Up have a lot of sugar in them, so that may be enough.

I agree; you wouldn't want more sugar than what's in jello and 7-up. I'd like that recipe - can you post it, please?

Thanks for replying-as i read on in the procedure it did ADD sugar, but-here it is.
Boil 13 cups of cut up rhubarb and 10 cups water for 20 min.
Strain good' and keep juice-discard rest
Add 1-1/2 to 2 cups sugar
1 pkg (3 oz) strawberry jello
1-12 oz can of frozen pink lemonade
Freeze
stir occasionally to make slush
Fill - 1/2 full with slush and and add 7-up

Yum! Thanks for posting. Does sound like a lot of sugar, though, with the added 1 1/2 to 2 cups. I'm sure it can be made "to taste".

been quite a while since I've had rhubarb (used to be a weight watchers staple in the first days) and some was less tart than other batches...why not add the other ingredients first, then add sugar/sweetner as needed?

wonder if the sugar adds to the slush effect??
