What a beautiful quilt ~ she is a lucky babygirl!
Your scallop border and pink curved detail is gorgeous.
Did you applique these curves?

Beautiful! And how sweet that her name is embroidered on it!

It's beautiful...so soft and pretty. The scalloped border is a nice touch. Was it difficult to do?

Lucky GGbaby! TFS.

It's beautiful, Jayne. The butterflies and scallops really make it special. I see a family heirloom made by a loving GGM.

It is lovely! I really like the way the butterflies break up the corners on the grid. The scalloped border is pretty, too!

Thank you everyone. It wasn't as difficult as I anticipated. It is from a pattern by Jennifer Sampou and Carolyn Schmitzs book "In the Nursery". As my gd wanted butterflies as her theme I added those and the name.
The scallops are fused appliqued with sm. buttonhole st.
The border was a new challenge for me. First marked--binding attached to the front before trimming-then turned. It worked amazingly well.

Just beautiful, Jayne! The design is lovely and is sure to be cherished by your GD and GGD for many years to come. I think you've mastered the scalloped border!
