Couple of questions: WHAT did she expect? How old is this guy now, 99?? I agree with whoever said, how silly. This is definitely not newsworthy. It is sad, however.

As to the "relationship enhancing" drugs, so many men are using them these days. I know, because almost every man I do an anesthetic on over the age of 50 has it on his med list. The biggest rise of STDs these days is seniors, in part because those drugs have allowed for that kind of intimacy.

There's just something about the way HH looks that makes me think he's not all mentally there. He pretty much would have to be senile to think that any of those "barbies" want him for anything else other than fame.

He doesn't care what they want him for. They feed his ego and satisfy his urges. That's all he wants women for anyway, IMO.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure both sides are well aware of what they're getting out of the arrangement. There aren't any illusions here. She gets financial security, he gets a sexy companion for his remaining years. They're both adults and not hurting anyone else so I don't understand why people are so disgusted over it.

I'll go against what everyone else is saying and state that I don't think he's an idiot or she's a bimbo. I think they're both intelligent enough to know what they want out of a relationship and seek out a partner who can provide it. It's the same process everyone else who is looking for a partner takes, whether they'll admit it or not.

People are disgusted because she could be his granddaughter, or even possibly great-granddaughter...which is just gross. I wouldn't date him and I'm almost 50.

It just baffles me how people throw around awful labels like bimbo without knowing anything about these people. You don't know their life, or their story, or how they grew up or anything about them. I'm not talking specifically about this girl but every "bimbo" that has ever been labeled based on a glance on the street or a random gossip article.

The name-calling and harsh judgements are purely on their age, hair color and breast size. If Hef's fiance had been a chubby 60 year old woman, no one would have called her a bimbo even though she's just as likely to only want the money as any other woman. As someone who has similarly been labeled based on appearance without any regard to actual intellectual capability, motivation or personality traits, I find it really sad.

RICH and FAMOUS is without a doubt going to get attentions and the coat tail riders get those attentions , good and bad they become famous too. Hef really is a very nice man. Sweet kind and generous. He tries to make the beautiful women around him happy and he has also helped many others not so beautiful and healthy people. He has made major charitable contributions to many foundations. His business sense was always good. SEX sells and he made a thriving business with that premise and all that goes with it at the centerfold. So what his business was a pleasure to him? How much would everyone of us love to have jobs we enjoy as much as Hef did his?
As for his present lifestyle, the women he chooses to spend time with and money on and the news coverage he gets. It is his choice and he has all the right in the world to do what he pleases as long as his pleasures are with consenting adult women. Those women know exactly what they are doing and I'm sure he does as well even if he chooses to believe otherwise. His love for them is real and he hopes to find a love from one of them that is real. Okay that may be considered foolish but not in anyway is it wrong to love and desire to make someone happy.
He is news worthy just as much as Howard Hughes and Michael Jackson were and other eccentric multi-million/billionaires are, just because people all around the world, including many members here GW and KT want to know what is happening in the lives of the RICH and FAMOUS.

Crystal just stated on People website that Hugh Hefner had lots of women he hung with and she knew it would continue after marriage and she wasn't comfortable with it.

I think it's ironic he finally "aged out" of the empire he created. I would never date a geezer like him, and I'm nearly 60. (Held together by good skin, healthy diet, lots of exercise and fresh air.)

Oh, I've seen plenty of older women labeled as bimbos as well. Most people don't consult a dictionary for a precise definition before handing out their insults. Thanks for providing it though. It illustrates my point perfectly. :)

I still think it's "karma" that a man who promoted men using women for sex without marrying them, and now it looks like he'll end up alone.
