Rev-A-Shelf dilemma

kgolbyApril 1, 2013

I'm so disappointed in these Rev-A-Shelf upper cabinet pull out shelves. They don't pull out far enough to be able to use them properly. Is there a possibility to install a slider that pulls out farther? If not, I think I just wasted my money because they're pretty much useless. It's kind of hard to tell from the attached photos but I've got about 3" of hand space to be able to grab items.

Looks like the cause is a design issue- next to a microwave on one side and angled cabinets on the other, correct? Don't know if one exists that small but an "overtravel glide could give you more. Not the easiest retrofit if they exist. Try cabinetparts.com for starters.

Yes, you are correct, jakuvall. It never crossed my mind. I will look at cabinetparts.com. Thank you for the suggestion.

I would agree with jakuvall. The layout seems to be the bigger issue, not the actual Rev-a-Shelf item. We sell a ton of them and the microwave and the angle are limiting your access.
