Help, I'm Math Challenged

geezerfolks_SharonG_FLSeptember 16, 2011

I went online to print off some graph paper for the Blooming 9-Patch to get started on a colorway. I found squares, diamonds, ect, but what's the math term for squares on point? I finally ended up cutting the one with squares and making my own. Surely there's one somewhere but I just don't know what to call it. I know someone here will know.......thanks.

Try this link! Printable, on-line graph paper in my shapes and sizes. I think the one you want is called axonometric.

Let me know if that's not right!

You'll get something that looks similar to this if you set the 'side line size' to 0.3 inches and click on both 'horizontal' lines and 'vertical' lines. You can get rid of the h & v lines completely, leaving only the diamonds and you can set the side line size however you want. 0.5 inches gives you pretty big diamonds.

Thank you, Kate. That's what I needed! I'll print it out when I get on the desktop. I print out the graphs I use, put them in a clear protector sheet and then just make copies when needed instead of having to go online and print them off. You have made me a happy camper!!!!
