RECIPE: Help! I used cornstarch instead of baking powder!

I made chocolate crinkles and accidentally grabbed the cornstarch container. I noticed cornstarch is one of the ingredients in baking pwdr. My first batch didn't seem as light and airy as I remember these cookies being. Is that because of the cornstarch? Should I remake the cookies? They just don't seem as good as I remember. Thank you!

It's the absence of the baking Powder that caused the problem....a couple of teaspoons of corn starch wouldn't make a huge difference...just a small difference.
