RECIPE: Self rising flour??

flowergirl70ksNovember 2, 2008

My husband bought me a bag of self rising flour by mistake. I've never used this before-do I just use any recipe and omit BP and soda or what?

Self-rising has baking powder & salt. You can use it for lots of things including biscuits. What's the brand? Some of the southern brands have a softer wheat flour in them which makes really good biscuits.

Thanks-if I had read on the sack a little further I would have seen BP and salt added. There are recipes on the sack for biscuits, pancakes, chocolate cake ect; This flour is Hudson Cream, one of the best flour Mills in Ks. Everyone loves their flour.
