anyone have a really tasty crumble type topping to cover my sweet potatos?
What about crushed graham crackers and butter?
Or how about the topping I use for fruit crisp:
3/4 cup flour
1 stick butter
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon.
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
Mine is alot like lindac's but I put coconut in it.
Here's my favorite. Warning: It's very rich....
Sweet potato topping
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c flour
1/3 c melted butter
1 c pecans
Combine and crumble evenly over sweet potato mixture.
I'm new to this forum. I'm Lynne and I live in central Florida. I'm usually hanging out on the garden and decorating forums. I'm cooking-challenged. Do you use cooked oatmeal or what?
