LOOKING for: Kitchen Klatter no-knead bread

fincheloverAugust 10, 2009

Mine has disappeared it is an easy no knead bread and takes about 1 hr. Does anyone's grandparents by chance listened to radio or subscribed to their pamphlet . You mixed it all up and put it in usual bread pan. For me with 6 children at the an easy and quick bread when we wanted bread.

Thanks all but the recipe I want is so easy all you do is mix and bake. I have been going thru some old subscriptions but it wasn't in them I think I got it off their radio program. It's been a long time 40-50 years ago.

Perhaps if you did a Google search for "batter bread" you might find the recipe or something similar. Back 40-50 years ago they did not call it "no knead bread."

See if this old Pillsbury recipe from the 40's is similar.

Was your recipe mixed using an electric mixer? The recipe at the link from lucyny has the bread dough mixed and kneaded with an electric mixer -- no hand kneading.
