Annie-- do you remove all the white pithy stuff from the peel before you grind it up ? You mentioned reserving the juice, do you add it in the final mix ? And how many 1/2 pts does it make ?
Diane, yes, I remove the white pithy stuff. Actually, I peel the orange with a peeler and try to avoid getting it in there at all. I do add the juice to the final mix, as part of the measurement of fruit.
Dang, I wish I could remember how much that made, I'm at work and the recipe is at home!
