RECIPE : Looking for: homemade steak seasoning

Does anyone have a good T&T homemade steak seasoning recipe? I'd like to make my own rather than use the ones from the grocery store. Thanks - hungrychef

This is one I've used for years

Herbed steak rub
yield 1 1/2 cups

1/2 cup each: dried thyme, basil, rosemary
2 1/2 tsp each: salt and pepper
2Tbl ground red pepper OR or less

Combine, store in air tight container

Rub 1 to 1 1/2 tsp over 6 oz beef tenderloin steak, etc.
Can be used with chicken and pork.

I use a clove of garlic rubbed with some kosher salt to a paste....spread it on the steak before grilling and I think it's better than anys easoning you could shake on.
Or were you looking for something like this:
Home Made Steak Sauce
2 lbs apples, cored & chopped
2 lbs prune plums, pitted & chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup water
3 cups malt vinegar
1 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp salt
2 1/4 cups sugar
In a large heavy saucepan, combine apples, plums, onion & water. Bring to a boil over medium high heat & cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until fruit & onion are soft. Press apple mixture through sieve set over large heavy saucepan. (don't miss this step). Combine sieved apple mixture, vinegar, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, salt & sugar. Bring to boil over medium heat & cook for about 30 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring frequently. Ladle sauce into hot half pint jars, leaving 1/2" headspace.
Wipe rims clean. Adjust lids according to manufacturers directions. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes. Makes 5 half pint jars. Once opened I put in squeeze bottles & store in refrigerator.

Caribbean Rub:
6 tablespoons garlic, minced
6 tablespoons onion, minced
6 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 tablespoons allspice
1 tablespoon dried ground chipotle
2 tablespoons Hungarian paprika
2 tablespoons brown sugar
4 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme
4 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground habanero
grated rind of 2 lemons

Combine all ingredients.

Mustard Rub:
2 cups Dijon mustard
1 cup minced parsley
1/2 cup dried orange or lemon peel
1/2 cup rosemary leaves, crushed
1/4 cup black pepper

Mix together. Store in refigerator in air tight container.

Tandoori Rub:
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander seeds
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon turmeric
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon cayenne

Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container.

Barbecue Dry Rub:
1/4 cup ground paprika
1/4 cup coriander seed, toasted and crushed
1/4 cup cumin seed, toasted and crushed
1/4 cup brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Combine the ingredients. Generously coat fish fillets, chicken, or meat with the dry rub before cooking.
