RECIPE: It has no name but so very easy!

june_2007May 27, 2008

This is really good for hot days.

1 Pkg. Tyson Flavored Beef Strips.

1 head lettuce shredded

4 medium tomatoes diced

4 cups instant rice cooked

1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese.

Soy Sauce

Heat the strips in a little Olive Oil.

Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil and add the instant rice cover and remove from heat.Sprinkle in enough soy sauce to color the rice.

Shred the lettuce.

Dice the tomatoes.

In a big pot dump all these ingredients and mix well. As you serve you can add more soy sauce. (I like a lot of soy sauce)

You can use frozen shrimp instead of the beef strips,

Let me know if your family likes it.

What are the beef strips? I don't think I've seen them down here. (I always add more soy sauce than recipes call for also.)

Ginger, I found the Tyson site and the info on the beef strips.

June, is this like one big salad? It sounds interesting.

Sorry I haven't gotten back. Yes it is like a big taco lik salad. Even our picky eaters really love it. If you can find the beef strips, let me know how you like it.
