Cleaning Grease off your backsplash

stir_fryiApril 15, 2010

I have a lovely matte ceramic tile backsplash behind the stove. When the sun shines into the kitchen I can see spots of grease on the tile. I tried Fantastic (supposedly cuts grease) but it really didn't work that well.

I saw Dawn Power Disolver in the grocery store -- but it sounds really harsh.

Any suggestions for getting grease off my tiles?

Well, the Fantastik supposedly has "oxy power" in it -- but will mix up a batch of regular oxyclean and give it a try.

I have had the best results using steam and microfiber cloth. I use the little handheld steamer that came with my Shark steam mop.
