Will having a return on my shelf affect bubbler action?

banana_fannaOctober 22, 2010

Pooljewel's post and huskyridor's response got me a'pondering the above question.

Also....Our plan is to have an 8" depth with a return and 2 bubblers.

It's not too late to change my depth to 6". But then will I be able to have a return on such a shallow depth?

If your using standard eyeballs for the fountain 8" deep will be fine, you just won't get a lot of height and froth unless you allocate much more water to them.
Yes, you can place a directional return on the shelf. Use an "A" profile, aim it down the tile line and not at the fountains.

See ya,
