It's hard to see but the blue line is the outline of the pool. Can't wait for the dig to begin!

So to those who are experts, does everything look ok so far? I am a newbie and have no clue what to look for in regards to whether things are being done correctly or not.

I am not an expert, but have been keeping up with your pic posts, thanks for posting. Keep 'em coming! I think my favorite is "pipe dripping water" because then you can imagine it filling the pool. :)

Somone messaged me but I am not sure how to reply back so I will post it here. The question was:
Just ran across a post from you and wondered how you liked the 4-7' depth. We are looking at building 16x32 freeform. And just looked at estimate and pb has it 3-7'. That seems really shallow to me. W do have a 4 yr old but also an 11 and 14 yr old. Me and my husband are both 5'11'. And I feel 3' would e shallow to everyone but the 4 yr old. We are putting a tan ledge in.
Thanks
Kelly

Answer:
We think starting at 4', even though our PB was confused about the choice, was a great decision. Most small children that enter the pool have floating devices on anyway and grow up very quickly. I didn't want to hit my knees when swimming in the shallow end and with our pool being so small we really had to go deeper to get to the deep end depth of 7'. The 7' deep end has worked perfectly for the kids diving/jumping in and the shallow end 4' is PERFECT for all of us. I am 5' 5" and my husband is 6' 1" and we both love the depth we chose. In fact the whole process is one I will never regret, it turned out better than I could have ever expected.

Winter is here, still beautiful and it's true, the self cleaning mechanisms/circulation keep the pool from ever freezing.

Just beautiful. It's so much fun having a pool. We have had ours for 26 yrs. And we just had it remodeled, it came out great. We so loving having a pool. Out deepest end of the pool is 9 ft. We have a diving board, and it's been the most fun ever.
