Location Issue

raya7694March 19, 2010

Our house has been on the market 14 days with no showings. It is competitive with the comps in the area. The issue is that we are on the West end of town not the East where everything is located.

That beign said do you think I would need to think about dropping the price. I as well as other realtors believe it is a competive price.

What do you do if your location isn't the most sought after.

Well, is the price competitive re other similar homes anywhere, or competitive in your neighborhood? If it's the latter, be patient, if not, maybe drop, but make it enough so you don't have to do it again soon (which doesn't look good after all).
