Hopefully this works. The pictures are a few that we took during the build. http://www.flickr.com/photos/stefv13/
461 sq ft
Gunite free form
2 aerators on tanning ledge
2 1/2 ton waterfall and 3 ton waterline boulders - mossy boulders
2 incandescent lights (intentionally for natural look)
Swi out bench on deep end of pool
Satin matrix jet black plaster
NPT tile Aztec Ash Nero
Mossy stackers for coping
1.5 HP variable speed pump
Fusion 14 blade salt system
This is the plaster
I choose mossy stackers for my coping. It is very similar to flagstone in texture but has a more rugged natural appearance.
This is my tile choice. BTW, mossy stacker coping is slightly cheaper than flagstone. I got it for 12 cents a pound and flagstone was 14 cents a pound.
This is my back yard before the build. It is not very big.
The finished result!! We love it !!
The color of the water changes dramatically with the lighting.
On a cool morning before the sun is in the sky.
Early in the morning without the pumps on it looks like glass reflecting all the trees around it.
An overhead shot. Didn't quite get the entire pool in the pic.
Closer shot of pool.
