splash area lighting

crosby1966August 22, 2011

We are planning on installing two savo melody lights in our 10' diameter semi-circle splash area (total of 20' wide)These lights are only 14watt but supposed to be the equivalent of a 75watt old school. will one light be sufficient?

Nope, you'll want two.

Thanks. How about the melody SOL? Twice as brite(28w)but only 120deg versus 180deg for melody. So just use one SOLlight? or go for more even lighting with two melodys?

The light beam would likely be too narrow, leaving dark spots to the sides.
