Help identifying this tile/paver

ladoladiAugust 3, 2011

Can anyone help me identify this tile/paver? I've looked high and low and can't find anything quite like this. Any suggestions as far as where to look would be greatly appreciated.

TILE OR PAVER, POSSIBLY SLATE

Looks like Glacier Quartzite to me. I have it in my entire house.

Sceadu-- If that's not it, it certainly does look quite similar. Do you know where you sourced the bluestone from? I'm having trouble finding places in Florida that carry it.

Thanks.

I build in Atlanta. Let me check with my stone guy to find his supplier. As to not break any forum rules please email me direct.

I would contact the company that originally posted the photo on Houzz where you found the picture.

I imagine they would be happy to talk to you about their work.

Thanks, Goyom. I already contacted them.

Their reply was that the project is from 2003 and they'll have to go fish through old files, etc. I'm not sure I'll get any additional response...

Sceadu, thanks a bunch! I'll drop you a line soon.

It is cut blue stone. Stone dealers generally sell it in uncut pallet bins around here. I am in South central NJ.
