concrete pool deck
I bought a home several years ago with a wonderful pool, but there is very little decking. I want to remove a large section of lawn and put a concrete deck in. It will go over the section of lawn that sits directly between the deep end of the pool (where the skimmer and drain are) and the pool pump, heater, etc. I am worried that if I cover that area of the yard with concrete and then there is a problem with the pipes it would be a problem to get to them. Is this a valid concern or should I not sweat it? The pool is 20 years old and in great shape other than a few tiles that have fallen off the wall this last winter. Also, how far below the surface do the pipes usually run? Would that create a problem with the concrete? Thanks in advance!
