Wood Wall Pools caved ~ termites??

twingleJuly 1, 2012

My old wood walls collapsed. I will be replacing them either in the fall or next spring. What precautions do I have to take? Was it termites?? Someone told me I have to use black PVC piping instead of white because termites can eat through the white and the liner? And I need to treat for termites. Anyone have experience replacing collapsed wood walls??? Any advise???

You just need to go back with treated lumber. If it has a sand bottom I would mix some Termite granules in it while redoing the floor....

I'm probably going to have the whole thing redone ~ deeper deep end, solar heating, automatic pool cover and thinking about going to L shape.
