Screwing in deck boards when wet?

catherinetNovember 22, 2013

We are replacing several of our cedar deck boards. We've finished a couple, but ran out of the right screws. We have the right screws now to work on it this weekend, but its been raining. Is it bad to attach them when the boards are wet?

No, it actually makes the screwing easier. Just space the boards a bit closer together.
