Pentair Easytouch 4 board repair?

dkande01June 6, 2011

Upon trying to start up my system this spring discovered the control board would not power up. After much trial and error (& $$s) with the local pool store it became clear that the mother board had to be replaced. A new board was ordered and installed and the system is functioning again. I would like to avoid this long drawn out process in the future and am planning to keep a back up board as a precaution. Just wondering if it is possible to have the original board repaired to keep as the backup. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Likely it depends on what failed.
