Automatic Vacuum wont go to shallow end

obrionusaJune 21, 2013

My robotic vacuum wont go to the shallow end of my pool. I suppose the pressure from the return is causing this. Do others have this problem and how do I fix it? Its an inground with one return line.

Is there enough slack in the hose?

Have you taken off links of hose so that it is now too short to reach deep end?

It depends on how shallow the shallow end is. If the robotic cleaner won't go to a 3' area, then you need a warranty call. If the shallow end is inches deep (like on a beach entry), it is not going to clean that area. You will need to supplement your cleaning tools with a vacuum
