Porch Floor Ideas Needed

pianolady007August 7, 2012

Someone did a sloppy paint job sometime in this home's history, probably over 20 years ago. Looks like paint is on the front facing of the concrete porch. I haven't had much luck removing with goof off, tested that and it didn't help much. I could try a paint stripper, but would rather not mess up the foundation I just painted, especially since I want to dress the porch up a bit later.

I guess I'm looking for ideas for dressing this concrete porch floor up. Not really a fan of painting it, maybe tiling it with something, or maybe decking over it? The siding will soon be the same dark blue/gray color as the foundation.

I should have added that I'm in the north midwest, where we have hot summers & cold winters.
